Your notes on it provide a record of topics discussed, decisions made, activities planned, and challenges given to your child. Over the months and years, many copies of this form should be used. For this reason, it's available as a download, so you can buy one copy and store it in your computer. Then you can produce unlimited copies as
you and your children need them. It is advisable to keep these used forms in a notebook for each child, so you can track his / her progress easier as the child grows up.

Tool #4 Learning Activities for Children and Adolescents

- Each Learning Activity is associated with an important topic in the lives of children. (Usually the topic of a Learning Activity is discussed in the Topics to Discuss book, but it is not necessary to have that book in order to do the activity.)
- A Learning Activity consists of instructions, information, and a worksheet for the child to complete. These activities help parent and child to discuss topic(s) and then reinforce such discussion by having the child do something. They permit children to express themselves on paper, as well as keep track of any challenges accepted and goals set for the topic(s). The discussion that takes place and the completed worksheet change a Learning Activity into an individual
learning experience. The personal writings done for the Learning Activity are important and should be preserved.
- Each Learning Activity should be done periodically while the child is growing up. For these reasons, the activities are offered as downloads, 8.5" x 11" in size. This allows additional copies of an activity's worksheet to be made when it's needed. After an activity is done, its convenient size allows it to be stored in the same notebook as the Discussion Form above.
