They illustrate the holistic nature of living, and point out critical needs in society today. We want people to have these things to the fullest degree possible, and we strive to help people obtain them. Each statement is an integral part of the broad approach we take in assisting people. For this reason, this group of statements truly reflects our company philosophy.
Our commitment to you is that our products and services are in agreement with and support these statements. Leland and Colleen Pulley - These are the two key individuals in our company. They bring to this business perspective gained through many years of adult responsibilities, experiences, relationships, and activities at home, at work, at church, and in the community. They have a personal interest in how to run their own lives more effectively, or to live smart. They have a desire to help others do the same thing and are willing to put time and money into accomplishing both of these objectives. Leland graduated from college and worked many years in industry. He gained experience in sales, employee training, design and production, and supervision. It was during these years that his interest in "life management" began to develop. He saw the need of active living, effective living, and smart living, both at work and in the private lives of people. This motivated him to gather information on many topics that supported these general themes. Some of these topics include psychology, sociology, ethics, principles of good living, values, success, and spirituality. He took college classes and did extensive research to gain knowledge in areas related to the managing of one's life. He worked to incorporate higher standards of living more fully in his own life. Eventually he began to write and teach on topics related to these general themes. Those efforts have lead to this business. Colleen spent many years as a homemaker while her children were young. She returned to college and completed her bachelor's degree in nursing. She has several years experience as an intensive care nurse in newborn, pediatrics, and adult care. She has been able to counsel with individuals coping with crisis and change in their lives, as well as with death and dying. She later took graduate classes in social work dealing with family issues. As a couple, Leland and Colleen have turned their marriage into a partnership that has passed the test of time. They have several children and have learned a great deal about parenting through their many years doing it. They have lived and worked in several areas throughout the United States and adapted to different situations and circumstances. Their children have attended public schools and participated in home school. In the community, Leland and Colleen have always taken an interest in public affairs and made the effort to be informed voters. They've been supportive of community activities and served as volunteers in various organizations. Leland has worked on political campaigns, been a candidate for public office, and served on civic committees. Both have accepted responsibilities in their church and worked with others to improve their lives. Last but not least, they've done their best to be a good neighbor. This information on Leland and Colleen is relevant because life management is not something you get a college degree in. Personal study related to it and a good blend of the right learning experiences helped Leland and Colleen to understand it better. They gained an appreciation of it by practicing it on a daily basis over many years. Because of their experiences and success using life management principles and sharing them with others, Leland and Colleen are confident their materials on life management will benefit you. Sarah Gentili - She is a wife and mother of three children. She has worked in computer sales in the retail business and in software support via call centers. She is familiar with the challenges faced by many employees. Currently she works with her husand in a small business. She received college training in computers, and is responsible for the design and maintenance of this website. She is also a regular writer for our "Ideas For Living Newsletter". Being a younger adult with different experiences than Leland and Colleen, she brings her own perspectives to our company. Her ideas and skills are used in all our products and services. Julie Plancarte - She is a mother of two children. She has worked in the health care field for several years, and is currently serving in the capacity of a nurse. She is a regular writer for our "Ideas For Living Newsletter". She is interested in political affairs, and this shows up in her many articles related to this general theme. Being a younger adult with different experiences than Leland and Colleen, she brings her own perspectives to our company.
