"Better Parenting" acts as a compass. It points you in the right direction so that you do not become lost in your parental journey. It provides abundant information which you can adapt to fit your parenting style. My husband and I have three boys ranging in ages from a toddler to a fourth-grader, each with different personalities and needs. With our youngest, we lay the groundwork of a strong parent-child relationship by creating a loving, positive environment for him to grow up in. With our middle son, it's all about social interaction, the "do's" and "don't's", and the importance of learning. With our oldest, we talk about setting goals, reemphasize the rules and boundaries in the home and in life, and different ways to handle peer pressure.
